Having the Right Skills.

Journalism Skills (Blog Entry No. 3)

At this point, I am proud to have been carrying multiple skills that I did not think would come in handy at some point in my life. I only see them as hobbies or things I enjoy sometimes doing. However, to see that these skills will come in handy in this program I have chosen, I am sure to be proficient in these areas.

These skills are the foundation for this program and the future career that I am going for. Although I am proud to possess these, I know there is still room for improvement to suit my profession correctly. I know I have to improve my communication skills, most significantly I have to train my tongue to attain this specific accent that is suitable for broadcasting, for it is a field I would like to venture into. If I succeed, then I can overcome my fears and weaknesses. I gave a few examples of what I can do: watch videos and listen to podcasts to have in mind how they speak more eloquently.
