Grammar Prowess: A Time Restraint Assessment

If I remember it clearly, we already took the grammar quiz twice, so it should be easier the second time around, right?

Well, to be quite honest, I still had a hard time taking it. Sure, I could have memorized the answers or look them up on the internet, but I didn’t. I still took the time to analyze and choose the best answer. My mom saw me take the quiz and told me that I got this, that it should be easier for me considering English is my favorite language ever since I was a child. Speaking and writing in English are two things that she thinks are what I am good at. She loved that because I excel in it because of her; she was strict with us about English.

Nevertheless, I had a difficult time, and it also made me realize a few things. English, no matter how many years you have been practicing and using it, and learning about it, is still abroad, complex topic. Speaking and writing may seem similar but are different. Like in the quiz, where perhaps if you say it, t sounded right, but when you write it, that’s when you find out you’re wrong all along.

I hope I did well, though, considering the time restraint as well as taking it seriously. It may not be easy, but English will always be my favorite language to learn more about.
